Role Summary In this role, you will be part of the Wireless/Connectivity Software team, designing and building advanced 5G, Wi-Fi, and connectivity software stacks for vehicle infotainment, hotspots, diagnostics, and customer-facing features. You will work on various aspects of connectivity software that enable connected vehicles. Responsibilities Design and develop wireless (Cellular and/or Wi-Fi) software stacks and algorithms for connectivity systems. Create state machines for control, data, and voice services interfacing with 5G/Wi-Fi modules. Develop object-oriented designs, middleware, and system services for embedded Linux systems. Implement power, connection, and network policies for different network scenarios. Collaborate with hardware, BSP, wireless software, system architecture, and testing teams to architect scalable software platforms. Follow good software architecture practices, contribute to code and design reviews, and perform unit testing to ensure high-quality software. Qualifications BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Strong C++ programming and debugging skills. Experience with wireless technologies (Cellular or Wi-Fi). Proficiency in algorithms, TCP/IP suite, memory management, and file systems. Good understanding of ARM processors, toolchains, and Linux OS. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Nice To Have Experience in cellular 4G/5G or Wi-Fi development. Experience with embedded Linux systems and networking. Experience in Android software development (Kotlin or Java). Additional Information Salary Range for California-based applicants: $116,300 - $145,400 USD, based on experience and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, and more.
