Job Description

The Registered Nurse coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the patient population, ensuring quality, safe, and efficient care aligned with unit standards and organizational goals.

• Must have an accredited RN program diploma, current NM or Compact license, and BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire.
  
  
• Additional certifications must be obtained within 6 months; ongoing maintenance is required if certified at hire.
  
  
• Possesses current knowledge of patient-specific care, communicates effectively, and respects patient rights.
  
  
• Supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager; works in a clean, well-lit environment with exposure to infectious diseases and emergencies.
  
  
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and fine motor skills, with the ability to handle stressful situations and emergency responses.]]>
